You can’t type in unique European letters on the machine by using the keyboard. This also means that you can’t import these letters from files. You can use the letters, but you will find them in a symbol library in the printer.

To access this library you have to use   SHIFT   and the button CODE   (the one with the text DIACR underneath). You don’t need to hold down  SHIFT  , you just need to press it down one time.

If you are unsure that you have activated SHIFT, then you can look in the left top corner of the display. If you se a S ,then SHIFT is activated.

When you have opened the symbol library, then you choose sign by using the arrow buttons. There are several rows of signs and you can se all signs by using arrow buttons up and down.
