1). The ink dries very fast and after just 30 seconds the tip of the pen starts to dry. Always put back the pen in its cap when you are not using it

2). You can prolong the lifetime of the pen if you keep it in the fridge when you are not using it. This makes the ink thicker and it can’t reach the tip of the pen. 

3). Always remove the extra ink on the pen tip before you place the pen in its cap. If the rubber inside the cap gets to much ink on it, then the seal will not be air tight and the pen dries.

4) If you know that you aren’t going to use the pen for some days, clean it.
