Partex Marking Systems expands and opens office in Dubai


Partex Marking Systems in Gullspång continue their internationalization and opens office in Dubai. The goal is increased growth in the Middle East.

Own presence in major markets such as Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Turkey and Dubai is necessary for Partex establishment in these areas.
Market research shows that there are clear business opportunities in the region and Dubai was selected as the preferred trading hub. On February 27 Partex sales office in Dubai were officially opened.

- We have seen a rapid growth in the Middle East since we started service the market with own sales resources. Our establishment in Dubai is a natural step that will give us an even higher growth rate, says Mikael Persson, CEO of Partex Marking Systems.

The Middle East has a great growth of infrastructure and there is potential for increased industrial production, which is a strong market for Partex marking systems. Knowledge of marking systems are generally very high in the Middle East , but the knowledge of Partex was low before the company began to service the market with own feet on the ground.

- The fact that we now have presence in this region, gives us the possibility to work better with sales support and technical assistance. We will be able to create more local activities and attract customers to our new showroom in Dubai to thereby strengthen the Partex brand, says Matthew Symonds, Sales Director Middle East and site manager of Partex office in Dubai.

Middle East is a competitive market for industrial marking systems with a clear division into three levels. The bottom level consists of wholesalers who sell Asia produced marking systems at low prices. The top third is only open for premium products manufactured in U.S. or Europe. The remaining, middle level, is really open to everyone, but is dominated by brands manufactured in India.

- Partex main customers are in the top range, but we also have opportunities at the intermediate level. Our goal right now is to get as many existing and potential customers as possible aware of Partex and to show them the benefits of our products and services, says Matthew Symonds.
